EMPLOYERS LIABILITY
This policy covers the insured’s Legal liability under Common Law for damages, claimant cost and expenses of litigation.
The policy compensates the Insured against liability from death, bodily injury and disease to employees in the course of employment above and above any compensation under WIBA.
To succeed in claiming under EL, the employee has to prove negligence/failure to provide a safe working environment by the employer.
Employers Liability policy should not be issued without a subsisting WIBA policy.
